Cannabis

Cannabis is a genus of flowering plant. The number of species within the genus is still a matter of dispute, but what is growing clearer with ongoing research is that the plant has a wide and varied multitude of uses beneficial to human life.

Traditional ways of human consumption of cannabis – primarily by way of smoking – can cause an increase in awareness of senses. Sometimes smoking cannabis may bring a sensation of time slowing down.

Other cannabis uses which enhance human life include the use of hemp in the making of products such as rope, textiles, clothing, shoes, food, paper, bioplastics, insulation, and biofuel. On top of this, there is growing evidence, and thus popularity, around the seemingly-miraculous beneficial health effects of Cannabidiol (CBD), which is a naturally occurring cannabinoid constituent of cannabis.
