LSD

LSD (Lysergic Acid Diethylamide) is a synthetic psychedelic substance derived from ergot fungus. It is one of the classic psychedelics, alongside DMT, psilocybin, and mescaline. Its psychoactive properties were discovered accidentally by chemist Albert Hofmann in 1943. Since then, it sparked a worldwide cultural revolution in the 1960s and ‘70s, and is at the forefront of the current psychedelic renaissance as a potential therapeutic substance.

Clinical research shows that LSD has potential to treat severe depression, and end-of-life anxiety. It could also be potentially used in other conditions such as OCD, PTSD, addiction, and cluster headaches.

LSD is usually dissolved onto sheets of paper, and divided up into single-dose “tabs.” The experience can last up to 12 hours and can induce profound psychedelic transformations. It has no physical toxicity at recreational doses.
