Spirituality

Spirituality is a very broad concept and has lots of room for different perspectives. Generally speaking, spirituality is characterized by a sense of connection to both ourselves, and to something bigger than ourselves. A path of spirituality typically involves a search for deeper or more significant meaning in life.

Religion is one way to explore spirituality, but there are many people who consider themselves to be spiritual, and not necessarily religious. Some people consider self-expression and exploration through art, dance, nature, music, meditation and/or visualization to be acts of spirituality. Others may pray or find solace in a personal relationship with God and/or higher powers.

A very subjective topic, and similar to a person’s sense of purpose, one may see their definition of spirituality change and transform with time and experience. Psychedelic plant medicines may play a leading role in these spiritual transformations.
