Ayahuasca Visions: The Wolf Medicine Woman Who Was Me 10,000 Years Ago

I found myself observing I found myself observing a scene from above, I was looking at an alpine landscape under a full moon. I could see the tree line of mountains rising up around a high Meadow. Traipsing in the meadow under the moonlight was the figure, a woman dressed in wolf skins. I had an intuitive sense that the scene I was observing happened a very long time ago, like quite possibly 10,000 years ago, though I have no idea what the timeline of humanity’s existence on this Earth actually is.

The silver pelt of a wolf draped her shoulders, its face on her head. She had furry wolf skin boots, and a big, full silvery wolf tail bouncing behind her as she skipped through the alpine meadow. I saw a medicine bag hanging from her waist, and she carried a club-like staff. I looked at her with admiration, how brave and courageous she was to fearlessly walk in the wilderness at night all by herself. I felt a pang of wistfulness, how I longed to be that too.

Then the scene grew closer, like the lens of a camera zooming in, so that I gazed upon her face, and saw it was my own.
