Please read if you are a Gmail user…

If you use Gmail, you may already be using the “tabbed inbox” system. We want to make sure that you know how it works so that you will still get to see the exciting updates that we have for you from EntheoNation.

You see, Google split your inbox into different inboxes. You will now be seeing tabs at the top, and some of these will have their corresponding labels such as Primary, Social, Promotions, and so on.

While this may seem like a neat way to organize your mail, the truth is, you do not get to choose which emails go into which inbox… they get to decide that, unless you tell them otherwise.

What does this really mean?

While you might be expecting your emails to land in your Primary inbox, a lot of these will end up in your Promotions tab, even though you signed up for them because you find their content valuable.

Many of the emails that end up in the Promotions tab are from bloggers and websites that people subscribed to. The problem is, many people do not bother to check the Promotions inbox.

If you do not want to miss the emails from your subscriptions, like the ones coming from EntheoNation for example, there is now an easy fix for you.

Check your Gmail account and see if the new “tabbed” inboxes are active (you will see the new tabs spread across the top of your emails).

If this is the case for you, here’s how you to make sure that what you signed up for lands on your Primary inbox.

 

1. Click on the Promotions inbox tab. Then, select the emails of the people or organizations that you want to hear from and then drag them to the “Primary” tab. (We do hope that EntheoNation is included in this list.)

 

2. You will get a notification, asking you if you want future emails to go into the Primary inbox. Just click on “Yes”.

 

Make sure that you check your promotions tab regularly so that you don’t end up missing emails from your subscriptions.

P.S. – By the way, you can also turn off the new tabbed inboxes as an alternative. All you have to do is click on the gear icon at the upper right corner and then select “Settings”.

 

Then, click the “Inbox” tab and uncheck ALL of the categories present except for Primary, and then hit save.
